AION 2 Empyrean Trace Guide: Feathers and Monolith Progress

At a glance

The retained Global home-map analysis gives 3 Monolith points per feather and 560 points for level 30, so 187 pickups suffice. Each home map lists 560 feathers; Abyss traces use a separate one-point counter.

Global Windows PC · Launch / Season 1. Check in-game requirements after updates.

Choose the home map for your faction

Use the Global feather map:

  • Elyos: Verteron
  • Asmodians: Altgard

An inspected route example is Altgard → Feathers → Route feathers → route 1.2: Nameless Cemetery to Safe Haven (Lv 14–16). Search ground, ledges, air and water, using flight or gliding for elevated markers.

What 187 and 560 mean

Number Global home-map meaning
560 feathers Candidate feathers listed per home map
3 points Monolith points per home pickup
560 points Required total for Monolith level 30
187 pickups Enough at three points each to reach that point target

The calculation is 560 ÷ 3, rounded up = 187. Older four-point / 140-pickup advice belongs to a different version and should not be substituted for this Global rule.

Asmodians use the Safe Haven Monolith. Check collection and Monolith progress in game. Website checkmarks only show saved map marks.

Abyss progress is separate

Abyss traces use a separate one-point counter. Do not apply the home-map 187-pickup rule to the Abyss.

An October 14 ordinary-player report, self-identified as NA West / Siel / PC, described 200/200 Abyss feathers but Monolith level 15. It had no reply when read, and its attached image was not inspected. This does not confirm a universal bug, the player’s expected level 16, or a change to home-map scoring.

If counters disagree, record your region, server, collection count and the correct Monolith screen for official Support. Browser marks cannot resolve in-game reward progress.

The home figures are Global launcher-26 analysis, not a collection run performed for this site.
