AION 2 Hidden Cube Guide: Keys, Candidate Spots and Opening

At a glance

Bring a Hidden Cube key and search the map pin’s nearby candidate spots, including height and water. Cubes are shared and may be gone; the retained Global reference gives a four-second opening and an achievement counter as checks.

Global Windows PC · Launch / Season 1. Check in-game requirements after updates.

Bring a key and search the group

The Global launcher-28 analysis reports keyed Hidden Cubes in Verteron and Altgard. Regional Monolith rewards are one free source of keys.

A pin marks a candidate, rather than a guaranteed present cube. Another player may have collected the shared cube. Inspect the group’s other spots and check height or water before deciding the area is empty.

No reliable fixed respawn timer is established here.

Altgard route example: Fang Hideout

Open the original Fang Hideout candidate route.

  1. Start at the Fang Hideout teleport.
  2. Inspect candidate groups 12 → 9 → 10 → 8 → 7.
  3. Return after checking the loop.

Group 9 is around 50 m southeast of Neglected Crematorium. The listed 1.9 km loop is a straight-line planning distance, not actual travel distance or a guaranteed number of finds. Keep the map open for its group labels and nearby alternatives.

Open and check the result

On finding a cube, interact with the key and let the reported four-second opening complete. Check the cube’s disappearance and the opening count under:

Achievements → Exploration → Field → Who Brought the Chest?

The route and opening rule come from Global client analysis and attributed character reports. The web route was checked; no in-game opening or reward was observed for this site.
