Your home world

The home maps have different landmarks and exploration routes. Choose the world you prefer and check where your friends are creating characters.
Agree on the full server identity
Global character creation follows Region → Faction → Server. Each server belongs to one faction. To share a home world, your group should choose the same region, faction and exact server.
Opposite-faction servers can be paired for Abyss / Spacetime Rift encounters. That pairing identifies opponents, not a shared home server, and official pairings can rotate.
Cross-server instances are a separate case
An October 8 official Global announcement says that instanced content, including dungeons, is available cross-server. This does not establish cross-region or cross-faction party compatibility. Keep a shared home world, an enemy pairing and cross-server instances as separate decisions.
Can you change factions through a transfer?
The announced October transfer service requires the same region and faction. It is not a faction-change service. Check the server transfer guide before making a later move.
The available sources do not establish a racial damage advantage or a strongest faction. Choose on home-world preference and friends, rather than an unsupported numerical advantage.
