The Global launch cap is 45
Global launch-build references identify character level 45 as the cap. Korean and Taiwanese service guides can describe a different stage of progression. Those services have separate character progress, so a higher cap in an older or Asian-service guide does not automatically apply to Global.

Three different numbers

| Skill level | The level of an individual skill and its associated choices |
| Item level / gear score | Equipment progression and content entry requirements |
Reaching 1,400 item level does not mean reaching character level 1,400.
What to work on after the cap
Finish the remaining story and regional rewards, improve equipment and select your skill Specialties. Develop Daevanion, Arcana and pets / Genus as they become available. These systems continue to matter after character experience stops increasing.
