Start with the story
Choose Steam or PURPLE on Windows PC, then pick a class for the role you want to play. If you are joining friends, agree on your region, faction and exact server before creating a character.
Follow the main story first. When it asks you to complete regional objectives, finish the indicated tasks and check whether the story resumes before grinding more of the map.
The Global launch progression guide recommends raising frequently used skills to level 8 and manually selecting their Specialty. An unlocked Specialty slot does not equip a perk by itself. Check the selected effect on each skill you regularly use.
This is a practical starting route, rather than a measured fastest leveling method.
What to do at level 45
- Finish the remaining story and collect its one-time rewards.
- Fill gaps in your equipment and spend earned progression points.
- Check the entrance requirement for the content you want to unlock.
- Save expensive rerolls and premium Manastones for pieces you expect to keep.

Spend Odyle with a purpose
Odyle Energy normally pays for a dungeon reward claim, rather than simply entering. Before opening a reward cube, decide whether its gear or currency helps your next upgrade. Avoid wasting regeneration at the refill cap, but do not spend energy on loot you do not need just to empty the bar.
