Build toward the 1,000 gate
A Global launch-client route recommends keeping temporary quest gear at +5, with the Spiritforged weapon and guard at +10. Treat these as spending priorities, rather than a guarantee that one fixed loadout is cheapest for every character.
Use Daevanion Crystals and spend the resulting points in Daevanion (U). Each spent crystal adds 1 gear score. Wisdom Stones add skill points instead; they are not a substitute for this item-level gain.
Clear unlocked home-region quests and sealed dungeons, including their Distorted Cave / Lost Ruin chain. Fill empty sockets with affordable, compatible stones before investing in expensive replacements.
At 1,000: finish the Abyss story
Enter the Abyss and complete the story hand-in to Koro for the Spiritforged Guard. This opens the remaining regional quests. Work through your faction’s Pilgrim / Liberator quest set.
Budget for the belt and amulet
This route upgrades each piece from Epic +10 to Unique +0. The Epic +0 to +10 stage alone costs the following per item:

This is not a free upgrade or a complete budget for reaching 1,400. Check your materials and planned next piece before committing.
Check the crystal shops
Look for affordable crystals in these menus:
- Season → Nightmare → Trade Shop → Growth
- Content → Shugo Festival → Festival Shop → Consumables
Shop currency, prerequisites and your available rewards limit what you can buy. If you are short of the next gate, check unspent Daevanion Crystals, empty sockets and unfinished quest upgrades first.
Avoid paying twice for temporary gear
A Global creator’s route also recommends keeping soon-replaced pieces at low investment, using cheaper Manastones on temporary gear and saving Soul Binding rerolls for pieces you plan to keep. Reroll prices shown for one character or item are examples, not universal fees.
There is no guaranteed completion time or proven minimum-cost build here. At 1,400 item level, the Global route opens Vakron Sky Island and Urugugu Canyon; confirm the selected difficulty at the entrance.
